About the role
The Heritage Elementary School is seeking a full‑time Chinese Immersion teacher for 2nd grade for the 2026‑2027 school year. This position will deliver a dual‑immersion curriculum, fostering bilingual proficiency and academic growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily Chinese immersion lessons for 2nd‑grade students.
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate curriculum across subjects.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Valid teaching license.
- Elementary endorsement.
- Experience or certification in Chinese dual‑immersion instruction.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
- Classroom management techniques.
- Curriculum planning and lesson design.
