Communication Officer

About the role

The Communication Officer will design and deliver visual and written communication materials that support the organization’s programmes and projects. This role combines strategic communication planning with hands‑on graphic design, photography, videography and event reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop information and communication strategies for organisational projects and programmes.
• Create guidelines for internal communication tools and products.
• Design high‑quality graphics for reports and publications.
• Document project change stories, archive photographs and manage social‑media updates.
• Act as event rapporteur, take meeting minutes and produce quality photography, videography and 3D animation.

Required profile

• Preferably a degree in Mass Communications, Development Communication, Journalism or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic communications planning for international organisations or consultancy assignments.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team, multitask, and travel frequently within the implementation area.
• Strong cultural sensitivity, patience and flexibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Professional photography and filming skills.
• Videography and 3D animation capabilities.
