Country Manager – Uganda

About the role

Lead Top Universe NGO’s expansion and operations in Uganda, driving the mission to democratize technology education across Africa. You will build local partnerships, oversee program delivery, and grow a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Top Universe NGO operations in Uganda.
• Build and manage partnerships with organizations and institutions.
• Oversee program delivery and ensure quality.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor local team members.
• Develop and execute a country‑specific growth strategy.
• Represent the NGO at local events and in the community.
• Track and report on country‑level metrics and impact.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or business development.
• Deep understanding of the Ugandan tech and education landscape.
• Proven track record of building and managing teams.
• Strong network in Uganda’s tech ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Education, or related field.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
• Passion for education and social impact.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Uganda.
