Country Sales Manager – Uganda

About the role

The Country Sales Manager will lead commercial growth and market performance for a cloud‑based school management and data analytics platform in Uganda. The role oversees sales, strategic account management, customer success and support to drive sustainable revenue and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country sales strategy, drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and market expansion across schools, networks, government and education partners.
• Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring retention, renewals, cross‑selling and upselling while building relationships with decision‑makers.
• Lead and develop local sales, account management and customer support teams, set performance objectives and provide regular commercial performance updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5‑8 years of sales, business development or commercial management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering B2B revenue growth, preferably in EdTech, SaaS or enterprise software.
• Experience managing strategic accounts, negotiating commercial agreements and developing partnerships.
• Familiarity with the Ugandan business environment and institutional or government customers is a plus.
