Customer Support Intern

About the role

Trillion Looks, which runs an ecommerce artisanal shop, a physical shop, a creative Heritage Sacco, an Afri Art fashion show and an inter-university fashion challenge, is building its customer community and is looking for a Customer Support Intern. The internship is full-time, lasts 3 months and starts on 10 November 2026; it is unpaid with facilitation and can be done remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries by email, live chat, phone and social media in a timely, helpful and friendly way.
• Identify user issues, troubleshoot basic technical or account problems and guide users to solutions.
• Maintain and update internal help articles, knowledge bases and FAQs based on common questions.
• Escalate complex issues or feedback to the product, engineering or operations teams.
• Gather customer feedback and insights to improve the service.
• Turn prospects into new members and onboard them.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English (and/or other required languages) with an empathetic, professional tone.
• Eager to investigate issues and find practical solutions.
• Comfortable learning new software, customer service platforms and productivity tools such as Slack and Google Workspace.
• Patient, enthusiastic, adaptable and detail-oriented.
