DevOps Engineer (KVS)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to own the stability, scalability, and performance of our growing Kernel Video Sharing (KVS) infrastructure, which powers multiple websites and video delivery servers. The role focuses on improving reliability, security, and deployment efficiency while handling peak traffic loads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement load‑balancing and horizontal scaling strategies across multiple servers.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain a private CDN for static and video content delivery.
• Monitor and reduce server response times, database latency, and network bottlenecks.
• Plan capacity and scaling to accommodate traffic growth.
• Implement DDoS protection, bot detection, and secure DNS/SSL/TLS routing.
• Manage DNS and routing policies for high availability.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and centralized logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and document recurring issues.
• Administer production Linux servers and optimize Nginx/Apache, MySQL, and PHP‑FPM configurations for high load.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or systems administration.
• Proven track record of building and supporting high‑traffic web projects.
• Ability to design and deliver infrastructure solutions independently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
