Digital & Content Marketing Trainee – Full‑time (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Digital & Content Marketing Trainee to join our team in Kampala. The trainee will support the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media accounts across platforms.
• Analyse website traffic and campaign performance using web analytics tools.
• Create marketing content such as articles, blog posts and social media copy.
• Conduct research, edit and proofread content to ensure quality and relevance.
• Develop and contribute to content strategy and online marketing plans.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to coordinate digital campaigns.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
• Relevant degree in IT, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn emerging digital trends.
• Excellent communication and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
