Digital & Content Marketing Trainee

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is looking for a motivated Digital & Content Marketing Trainee to join its team in Kampala. This full‑time, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience in social media, digital strategy, web analytics and content creation within a fast‑growing startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts across platforms.
• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
• Monitor web traffic and generate analytics reports.
• Create marketing content such as articles, blog posts and social media copy.
• Conduct research, edit and proofread content before publication.
• Collaborate with the team on content strategy and project delivery.
• Communicate progress and results to team members and clients.

Required profile

• Interest or background in social media and digital marketing.
• Strong written communication and editing abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn emerging marketing trends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant degree or studies in IT, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
