Distribution Driver

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to perform Second Tier deliveries according to the planned routing schedule while ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times. You will join a dynamic team that values passion, talent, and curiosity, and you will help deliver products to customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 2nd Tier delivery vehicles and legally operate company vehicles.
• Check trucks and trailers using the vehicle checklist, including oil and water levels, and record any damages or faults.
• Report any damages or faults identified during inspections.
• Deliver placed orders according to the planned and scheduled delivery route.
• Ensure inventory reconciliations match orders at departure and collections at the Point of Contact.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk‑free working environment.
• Adhere to DPO Safety Pillar working guidelines.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a stock control environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Valid, unendorsed Heavy Duty vehicle licence.
• Sound knowledge of SAP R3 and advanced knowledge of SAP systems.
