Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The captured video will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. Work is fully remote and performed on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Wear a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses to record hands‑on daily tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and other routine activities.
• Follow strict recording specifications, including stable lighting, landscape orientation, required resolution, and camera angles.
• Upload raw, unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within the agreed timeframe.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30/60 FPS (head mounts or straps are provided).
• Ability to work in a realistic residential or workspace environment.
• Strong attention to detail to keep hands visible, avoid mirrors, and maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious: no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data may be captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
