Electrical Project Engineer – Kampala

About the role

Master Power Systems Uganda Limited is seeking a full‑time Electrical Project Engineer to join its Kampala office. The role focuses on managing electrical engineering projects, coordinating procurement activities and ensuring high‑quality delivery of MEP works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from design through execution.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and project cost estimations.
• Issue purchase orders, negotiate contracts and oversee procurement processes.
• Utilise ERP systems for tracking, reporting and compliance with procurement regulations.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to electrical codes, LV/HV and substation specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or MEP projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and research abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
