Electrical Technician – Manufacturing & Refrigeration

About the role

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Electrical Technician assembles high‑quality refrigeration systems using engineered drawings and customer‑specific documentation. The role involves wiring, mounting components, and performing inspections to ensure systems meet design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical layout according to design documentation and wiring schematics for assigned projects.
• Mount major electrical components such as rack controllers, transformers, auxiliary panels, and variable frequency drives.
• Wire pressure switches, solenoid valves, compressors and other auxiliary devices.
• Conduct electrical inspections to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Interact professionally with all departments, vendors and customers.
• Utilize power and hand tools, MIG welding, metal grinding, forklift/crane operation, painting, and general material management.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• Willingness to learn with on‑the‑job training provided.
• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful, especially with refrigeration system components.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 45 lb, and perform other physical tasks as required.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring and wiring to schematics.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, weld charts and technical documentation.
