About the role

The Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP) at TechBuzz Hub is seeking motivated Finance and Accounting Trainees to join a full‑time, hands‑on learning experience. Based in Kampala, the role combines office work with occasional field assignments, offering a fast‑track path to professional competence and employability.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and operate accounting software for daily transactions.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and related reports.
• Apply analytical techniques to evaluate financial data.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and investment analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with senior finance staff on risk and financial management activities.

Required profile

• Background in accounting or finance, currently pursuing or having completed a relevant degree.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
