About the role
The Finance & Administration Manager will support Seed Global Health’s Uganda program, working in a fast‑growing office environment. Reporting to the Country Director, the role collaborates closely with the Global Finance & Operations Manager and local program teams to ensure robust financial and administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and implement finance and administration policies, procedures, and systems.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
- Manage special projects and initiatives identified by the Country Director and Global Finance team.
- Coordinate procurement, payroll, and HR administrative support for the Uganda office.
- Provide timely financial analysis and recommendations to program managers.
- Ensure accurate record‑keeping and support internal and external audits.
Required profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance and administration within NGOs or international development settings.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to Seed’s values.
