Finance and Accounting Trainee

About the role

TechBuzz Hub is looking for a motivated Finance and Accounting Trainee to join its team in Kampala. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience with accounting software, financial data entry, and the preparation of financial statements while supporting broader finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and operate the company’s accounting software.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Apply analytical skills to evaluate financial data and support decision‑making.
• Contribute to finance‑related tasks, including risk assessment and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Work primarily on‑site in Kampala with occasional field assignments.

Required profile

• Background in accounting or a related field (pursuing or completed degree).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
