Financial Advisor – Client Solutions

About the role

ICEA LION Uganda is seeking a full‑time Financial Advisor to join its Kampala office. You will work directly with individuals and organisations, helping them protect and grow their wealth through tailored insurance, pension and investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet clients to assess financial goals, current assets and liabilities.
• Develop and present customised financial plans and product proposals.
• Follow up on leads, nurture long‑term client relationships and ensure high service standards.
• Monitor market trends, review client portfolios regularly and recommend adjustments.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and support business growth.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial planning and advisory.
• Solid understanding of finance, investments and retirement planning.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability to work towards targets, manage time effectively and uphold high ethical standards.
• Familiarity with Ugandan insurance, pension and investment products is beneficial.
