Fleet Technician

About the role

The Fleet Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing and optimizing the efficiency of company vehicles and equipment. You will ensure fleet availability meets AB InBev standards while adhering to safety procedures and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and keep the work zone and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Ensure vehicles comply with regional traffic regulations, OEM manuals and company procedures.
• Provide guidance to drivers on safe and economical vehicle operation.
• Execute weekly service schedules, diagnostics, preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, auto‑electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Operate workshop tools such as pressing machines, grinding machines, torque wrenches, wheel jacks and safety stands.
• Document inspections, service actions and any driver‑reported defects accurately and promptly.
• Assist with parts ordering, inventory control and forecasting of spares.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and OEM maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and work instructions.
• Capability to work independently in a workshop environment.

Required skills

• Diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical repair (engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, etc.).
• Auto‑electrical troubleshooting.
• Welding and metal fabrication.
• Use of pressing machines, grinding machines, torque wrenches, wheel jacks and other specialized tools.
• Familiarity with DPO/VPO fleet procedures.
