Franchise Partner

About the role

The Franchise Partner will lead a YooKatale franchise territory in Kampala, combining on‑site presence with flexible remote work. This contract position focuses on delivering high‑quality food services to both home and commercial customers while driving growth and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand the assigned franchise territory, overseeing daily operations and service standards.
• Implement YooKatale’s brand guidelines and operating procedures across all touchpoints.
• Coordinate local marketing initiatives to raise awareness and attract new customers.
• Handle financial tasks such as budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, and regular reporting.
• Recruit, train, and support local staff or partners as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with YooKatale’s central team to align local strategies with company goals and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven franchising or business ownership experience, preferably in food, retail, or service sectors.
• Strong training and team‑development capabilities, with the ability to onboard and guide local staff.
• Solid finance and basic accounting knowledge, including budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Effective sales and customer‑relationship skills, covering prospecting, negotiation, and retention.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication abilities, capable of working independently in a hybrid environment.
• Comfort with digital tools and mobile platforms, and willingness to learn YooKatale’s systems.
