Full Time Teacher of French (IGCSE/IBDP)

About the role

The Aga Khan School is seeking a full‑time French teacher to deliver the IGCSE and IBDP curricula. The successful candidate will create a supportive, inclusive classroom where every student is respected and motivated to achieve their highest potential.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and cultural diversity.
• Plan, deliver and assess French lessons in line with IGCSE and IBDP syllabi, preparing students for examinations.
• Develop daily lesson plans, assign and mark homework, and keep accurate student records with confidentiality.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem‑solving skills through a growth‑mindset approach.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the regional PLC community to improve teaching practice and align with 21st‑century learning goals.
• Prepare end‑of‑term reports, moderate examinations, and analyse results to inform future instruction.
