General Manager – Hotel Operations (Arua)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of our Arua hotel. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the property, from revenue generation to guest experience, ensuring high standards and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day hotel operations, including accommodation, conference facilities, food & beverage and ancillary services.
• Drive revenue growth and monitor financial performance, including budgeting, revenue tracking and expense control.
• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate, NGO clients and ownership, handling communications and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations and quality benchmarks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or senior hospitality operations.
• Proven ability to manage and inspire teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of hotel financial reporting, revenue tracking and expense management.
• Experience working with corporate or NGO clients is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Arua if not already based there.
