Graduate Management Training Program – 12‑Month Banking Trainee

About the role

The 12‑month Graduate Management Training Program at I&M Bank Uganda is a structured, hands‑on development journey designed to fast‑track high‑potential graduates into future banking leaders and Relationship Managers. Participants will rotate across three core banking departments, receive foundational training, and work on a real‑world capstone project.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate across three core banking departments to gain cross‑functional exposure.
• Complete structured training courses covering core banking fundamentals.
• Undertake a capstone business project that addresses real‑world banking challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division honors in any discipline (preferred fields: IT/Cybersecurity, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Agriculture, Business).
• Graduated within the last two years (pending graduates with provisional transcripts are eligible).
• Credit passes in O‑Level Mathematics and English, plus A‑Level General Paper.
• Available for placement within Central Uganda.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, adaptability, teamwork and leadership potential.
