Group Tax Manager

About the role

The Group Tax Manager will lead d.light’s global tax strategy, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions while optimizing the overall tax position. Reporting to senior leadership, this role supports strategic decisions, new projects, and expansion plans worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global tax strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, governance, and accounting for all operational regions.
• Maintain a tax risk register and present risk assessments to the CFO and Audit Committee bi‑annually.
• Oversee corporate tax, transfer pricing, PAYE, and indirect tax compliance, including timely filing of all returns.
• Lead tax accounting activities such as provision calculations, deferred tax analysis, and financial reporting of tax positions.
• Manage OECD Pillar Two obligations and country‑by‑country reporting, ensuring accurate and on‑time submissions.
• Act as custodian of the transfer pricing policy, maintain intercompany agreements, and leverage Double Taxation Agreements.
• Monitor global tax law changes and adapt the company’s approach accordingly.
