Head of Transformation & Digitalisation

About the role

C-Care International is seeking a senior leader to drive its transformation and digitalisation agenda across the East Africa region. Reporting to the CEO – East Africa, the Head of Transformation & Digitalisation will shape strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of the regional transformation and digitalisation roadmap aligned with Group strategy.
• Drive business transformation initiatives and digital health solutions across the region.
• Partner with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to enhance patient experience and organisational performance.
• Oversee healthcare systems, data governance, cybersecurity and technology capabilities.
• Champion innovation and adoption of emerging technologies to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.
• Manage strategic partnerships, budgets and transformation initiatives to deliver business value.
• Build and lead a high‑performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transformation, digitalisation or technology leadership roles, including senior management.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale transformation and digital initiatives.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, digital technologies and change management.
• Based in the East Africa region, preferably Uganda.
