Healthcare Data Entry Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to join our revenue‑cycle team in Kampala. The role involves accurate entry, management and maintenance of patient registration information and medical records, as well as supporting phone answering, check‑in/out, scheduling and charge entry.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain patient demographic, insurance and registration data in the EMR system.
• Verify insurance coverage and capture required information at point of entry.
• Manage and update medical records, ensuring data integrity, completeness and HIPAA compliance.
• Review records for accuracy, flag missing or inconsistent information, and follow up.
• Maintain high typing accuracy and meet daily productivity targets.
• Follow established data‑entry protocols and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills
