High School Math Teacher (Grades 9‑12)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Math Teacher for grades 9‑12 to deliver high‑quality instruction aligned with Texas state standards. The teacher will create engaging learning experiences that support students’ intellectual, emotional, and social development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet district curriculum requirements and accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal testing and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special‑education staff to modify curricula for IEP students.
• Supervise teacher aides, volunteers, and oversee extracurricular activities as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment and manage student behavior per the Student Code of Conduct.
• Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and colleagues about student performance and classroom matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements for secondary mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of the assigned math subjects and general curriculum standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
