Hotel Marketer

About the role

The Hotel Marketer will drive revenue growth and market presence for the hotel by promoting rooms, restaurant, bar services, events and meetings. You will build customer relationships and generate measurable bookings and business leads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and sales activities aligned with occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote room bookings, restaurant and bar offers, meetings, conferences, parties, weddings and other events through direct sales and appropriate channels.
• Manage and regularly update the hotel’s social media pages and online promotional content.
• Create or coordinate promotional materials, campaigns, offers and packages within approved budgets.
• Identify and build relationships with corporate clients, tour operators, travel agents, event organisers and local businesses.
• Conduct sales calls, visits and follow‑ups, prepare quotations and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Collect customer feedback, monitor competitor activity and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a database of prospects, clients, enquiries, bookings and campaign outcomes; submit regular reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, Public Relations or related field.
• Entry‑level experience in sales, digital marketing, hospitality marketing or customer acquisition is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Practical ability to create engaging social media content and use common digital marketing platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic design or content‑creation tools.
