Infant Lead Teacher

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking an enthusiastic Infant Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, joyful environment for our youngest learners. You will lead a classroom of infants, fostering development through play, language, and safe exploration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a daily schedule that balances quiet time, active play, and motor‑skill activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop age‑appropriate curriculum and learning experiences.
• Maintain open communication with parents, providing daily updates on each child’s milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment at all times.
• Observe and document infant progress, supporting individualized learning plans.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDA credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age and meets all state preschool lead teacher requirements.
• Prior experience as an infant classroom teacher, with proven classroom management skills.
• Flexibility to work during standard business hours.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infant development milestones and best practices.
• Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Strong communication skills for parent interaction.
