Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kampala and reports to the Insurance Agency Manager. The Sales Agent will actively seek new clients, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue for the agency’s insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients through lead generation activities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and prepare tailored proposals.
• Close sales in line with set targets and follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Address client inquiries, resolve concerns, and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
• Coordinate service delivery with internal teams and provide market feedback.
• Participate in regular training sessions and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated sales abilities, including negotiation and meeting targets.
• Basic understanding of insurance products or willingness to learn.
• Growth mindset, openness to feedback, and ability to benefit from training programs.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills with reliability in meeting deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
