Insurance Sales Representative (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The successful candidate will generate new business, nurture client relationships and promote our range of insurance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls and field visits.
• Present insurance policy services to prospective clients and follow up on leads.
• Conduct client meetings, maintain an active sales pipeline and prepare regular sales reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM, provide after‑sales support and represent the company at events and networking activities.

Required profile

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with a results‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site client visits in Kampala and surrounding areas.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English; additional local languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as email, spreadsheets and presentation software.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
