International Language Teacher – Night School

About the role

The International Language Teacher will deliver secondary‑level language credit courses during evening classes at a night‑school program. This part‑time position runs from September 2026 to May 2027, providing instruction in a range of languages to adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum for evening language classes (Arabic, German, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Hindi, Urdu).
• Assess student progress, assign grades, and provide feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the school’s administration to schedule classes and report attendance.

Required profile

• Senior teaching qualification in the target language preferred.
• If senior qualification is absent, an OCT teaching qualification plus fluency in the language and teaching experience are required.
• Secondary‑level teaching certification is strongly preferred; elementary‑level qualified candidates may also apply.

Required skills

• Fluency in at least one of the listed languages.
• Experience designing and delivering secondary language curricula.
• Ability to manage a classroom during evening hours.
