International Student Advisor

About the role

GlobCred is seeking a full‑time remote International Student Advisor to guide prospective students through the loan application journey. You will act as the primary point of contact, delivering accurate financing information and supporting students in planning their studies abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Assist prospective international students with loan applications, explaining terms, rates, and repayment options.
• Provide personalized counseling on global education opportunities and financing solutions.
• Answer SEVIS‑related questions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Organize and manage student records, ensuring detail‑oriented documentation.

Required profile

• Experience working with international students and understanding their unique needs.
• Strong student‑counseling abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with international education systems and SEVIS compliance.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing time effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field preferred; financial advising or student services experience is a plus.
