Lead Teacher – Infant

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher for our infant classroom to join a supportive team of early‑childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants while collaborating with families and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom where each child feels respected and cared for.
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety standards, and company policies.
• Document accidents, incidents, and behavior reports accurately and promptly.
• Communicate regularly with families using Cadence‑required tools and systems.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional‑development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education, preferably with infants.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and licensing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cadence Education’s classroom management and communication systems.
• Knowledge of early‑childhood development standards and IEP implementation.
