Lead Teacher – Infant (Toddler)

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Teacher for its infant/toddler classroom. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, develop, and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a daily schedule that balances quiet snuggles, active play, and motor‑skill activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop age‑appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
• Document and share daily updates with parents, highlighting milestones and moments.
• Guide play using toys, language, and activities that promote curiosity and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool lead teacher requirements.
• Previous experience as an infant or preschool lead teacher.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field.
• Strong classroom management abilities (preferred).
