Lecturer in Land Surveying & Geomatics (Full‑Time)

About the role

The University seeks a full‑time Lecturer to teach and conduct research in Land Surveying, Surveying & Geomatics. The successful candidate will join the Department of Surveying, contributing to both undergraduate and graduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses assigned by the Head of Department.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and secure external research funding.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students on academic projects.
• Develop and update curriculum, course syllabi, and learning materials.
• Participate in departmental seminars, committees, and university-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Surveying, Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least two years of university teaching experience at the rank of Assistant Lecturer, or three years as a Tutorial Assistant.
• Evidence of scholarly output – a publication or research project.
• Strong time‑management, communication skills, and a commitment to Christian values.
