Lower Primary Maths & Science Teacher

About the role

The Lower Primary Teacher will deliver Christ‑centered Maths and Science instruction to pupils in P1‑P4 at AsOne Ministries. This full‑time position focuses on building strong numeracy foundations and introducing basic scientific concepts while nurturing spiritual growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for Maths and Science aligned with national and school curricula.
• Teach engaging, inclusive, age‑appropriate lessons for P1‑P4 learners.
• Build foundational numeracy skills, including counting, basic operations, and problem‑solving.
• Introduce basic Science concepts through hands‑on, observation‑based activities.
• Provide remedial support and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative tools and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that reflects Christian values.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and school staff, and participate in internal examinations.

Required profile

• Commitment to Christian values and ability to integrate Biblical principles into teaching.
• At least two years of teaching experience (24 months indicated).
• Capability to teach Maths and Science to lower primary students (P1‑P4).
• Ability to develop lesson plans aligned with national curriculum standards.
