Market Research Analyst (Gig Economy App)

About the role

We are launching a new local marketplace app that connects gig workers with task requesters. As a Market Research Analyst you will execute the entire research phase, from recruiting participants to delivering actionable insights that will shape the product’s MVP.

Key responsibilities

• Map local and international competitors, analysing pricing models and weaknesses.
• Recruit 60‑100 participants (both clients and taskers) for in‑depth interviews.
• Conduct unbiased user interviews and administer online surveys to obtain at least 200 responses.
• Organise interview notes, survey data and metrics in Google Workspace, Notion or Airtable.
• Produce customer personas, a comprehensive market research report, and prioritize MVP features based on findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting user interviews or market research.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Filipino is a plus for local interviews.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
