Marketing Executive

About the role

The Marketing Executive will plan, coordinate and execute marketing initiatives that boost brand visibility, customer engagement and lead generation across Chloride Exide’s automotive and solar product lines in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ATL, BTL, digital and trade marketing campaigns and ensure consistent brand application across all touchpoints.
• Support dealer branding projects, product launches, customer activations and market development programs.
• Manage market research activities, analyse customer insights and track competitor actions.
• Assist in planning exhibitions, roadshows, product launches and strategic partnership activations.
• Oversee social media, website content, email marketing and the production of marketing collateral.
• Prepare monthly marketing dashboards, track campaign performance and monitor budget utilisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in marketing, brand management, trade marketing or business development.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, energy or telecommunications is an advantage.
• Strong project‑management, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with marketing reporting tools and digital campaign management.
• Digital marketing and social media management capabilities.
