Marketing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing Officer to support the planning and execution of both digital and offline campaigns for our healthcare organization in Kampala. The role will involve managing multiple communication channels, engaging customers, and contributing to brand promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of digital and offline marketing campaigns.
• Manage social media, website, WhatsApp, SMS, chatbot and other communication channels.
• Develop marketing content while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
• Respond to customer inquiries, manage bookings and leads, record and escalate complaints.
• Coordinate marketing events, community outreach, activations and exhibitions, handling logistics, branding and post‑event reporting.
• Conduct market and competitor research, customer surveys, mystery shopping and analyse findings.
• Maintain website content, support SEO initiatives and monitor basic website performance.
• Maintain marketing records, support procurement, track budgets and prepare reports.
• Adhere to ISO quality management processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing or customer engagement.
• Experience in event coordination, market research, content development and campaign reporting.
• Experience managing websites, SEO, CRM platforms is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and reporting skills.
