Payment Posting Specialist

About the role

Reveloop is looking for a Payment Posting Specialist to join its revenue cycle management team in Kampala. You will be responsible for accurately posting payments received from patients and insurance companies, ensuring timely revenue capture for behavioral health clients.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process payments from patients and insurers, verifying all details.
• Post payments promptly to patient accounts in billing systems or EHR platforms.
• Reconcile payment batches, identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate rejected or over‑payments and correct posting errors.
• Prepare and reconcile bank deposits with proper documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all payment transactions.
• Monitor and report on posting productivity and accuracy metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve payment posting processes.
• Stay updated on payment processing regulations and system updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficiency with billing systems, electronic health records (EHR) platforms, and payment processing software.
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing processes, including insurance payments and EOBs.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Effective communication skills for internal collaboration.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
