Planning & Performance Manager

About the role

The Planning & Performance Manager will drive optimal supply costs for AB InBev’s Uganda operations in Jinja. The role coordinates financial planning, budgeting and performance analysis to support the supply chain and ensure cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the supply cost planning process for Uganda.
• Communicate and monitor the annual plan calendar and milestones.
• Partner with procurement to estimate price escalations and quantify initiatives.
• Ensure budget data is uploaded into Anaplan, Syspro, and SAP.
• Lead the ZBB budget process for the plant.
• Prepare full‑year forecast outlook and report financial and operational KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, manage risks and develop action plans.
• Coordinate reporting and prepare management review presentations.

Required profile

• University degree in finance or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting, audit, tax and treasury activities.
• Experience in product costing and project management.
• Strong business acumen across safety, quality, brewery operations, logistics, procurement, sales, marketing and finance.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and presentation skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a process‑oriented, multicultural environment.
• High service mindset and strong coordination skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Anaplan, Syspro and SAP budgeting tools.
• Knowledge of ERP and consolidation/reporting systems.
• Familiarity with CTRM, commodity tracking and risk management.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and product costing.
