Preschool Lead Teacher – Early Childhood Educator

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead a classroom, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere and build strong relationships with children and families.
• Follow licensing, safety, and supervision standards at all times.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and behavioral concerns according to policy.
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Use Cadence communication tools to keep families and staff informed.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to recognize and respond to diverse developmental, cultural, and behavioral needs.
• Commitment to professionalism, compliance, and continuous improvement.
