Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of early‑childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing, safety, and supervision standards.
• Support the physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs of all children, including those with IEPs.
• Communicate regularly with families using Cadence‑required tools and maintain accurate documentation of incidents and progress.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional‑development activities, occasionally outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to implement IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Professional demeanor and ability to model best practices for staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cadence Education systems and communication tools.
