Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead classroom operations, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, implement, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence’s educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Utilize Cadence‑required systems and communication tools to coordinate with staff and families.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised environment and follow all licensing and safety policies.
• Document accidents, incidents, and behavioral concerns in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and safety procedures.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to teamwork and open communication.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Cadence Education systems and communication tools.
