Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead a classroom, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s growth, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere and foster positive relationships with families.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety standards, and Cadence policies.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and behavioral concerns as required.
• Collaborate with team members, attend trainings, and participate in meetings.

Required profile

• Experience in early childhood education, childcare, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to support children with diverse developmental, behavioral, and cultural needs, including IEP implementation.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families and staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cadence‑required classroom management and communication systems.
