Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead a classroom, deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement daily lesson plans that reflect early childhood best practices.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere and foster positive relationships with families.
• Monitor and document child progress, including IEP implementation and behavior support.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety standards, and Cadence Education policies.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and leadership using Cadence’s communication tools.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to support children with diverse developmental and behavioral needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to safety procedures.
• Commitment to teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.
