Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead a classroom, implement Cadence Education curricula, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver daily curriculum aligned with Cadence’s educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere and build strong relationships with children and families.
• Implement and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety standards, and Cadence policies.
• Document accidents, incidents, and behavior reports accurately and promptly.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development, occasionally outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, including Name‑to‑Face accountability and food allergy protocols.
• Strong communication skills for daily greetings and ongoing family interaction.
• Commitment to professional conduct and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cadence‑required classroom management and communication tools.
