Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including implementing IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Plan, deliver, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Use Cadence systems and communication tools to maintain professional interaction with families, staff, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised classroom and follow all licensing and safety requirements.
• Accurately document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood development and experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to model professionalism and ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills for partnering with families and team members.
• Commitment to supporting the physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs of all children.
