Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead a classroom, deliver curriculum, and support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement daily curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere and foster positive relationships with children and families.
• Follow all licensing, safety, and supervision policies, documenting incidents and accidents as required.
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans when needed.
• Use Cadence’s communication tools to keep families and staff informed.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and licensing requirements.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and team members.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Cadence Education curriculum and safety manuals.
• Proficiency in using Cadence’s documentation and communication systems.
