Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Reporting to the School Director, you will lead classroom operations, deliver curriculum, and support each child's physical, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence educational philosophy.
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as needed.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised classroom following Cadence Education safety and licensing standards.
• Accurately document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy.
• Use Cadence‑required systems and communication tools to interact professionally with families, staff, and leadership.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development, including occasional after‑hours sessions.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and licensing requirements.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families and team members.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
