Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, implement, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence’s educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Utilize Cadence‑required systems and communication tools to interact with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised classroom, following Cadence Education Safety and Supervision guidelines.
• Accurately document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy and licensing requirements.
• Follow all Cadence Education policies, procedures, and standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development, which may occur outside regular work hours.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for early childhood development.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to support children with IEPs and implement behavioral support plans.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and licensing compliance.
• Professional demeanor and effective communication with families and team members.
